The purpose of this program is to provide food to students in need over the weekend, when school breakfast/lunch is not available. The backpack food items are designated for children from low income families as well as children living at or below poverty level. Students selected for the program will receive a pre-filled backpack on Friday that contains six meals they take home for the weekend.
If you feel your child(ren) would benefit from the Aloha Backpack Buddies program, please complete the enrollment form. Pōmaika'i will only be servicing 40 students this year, and participants will be selected on a first come first serve basis.
Confidentiality: The enrollment form and all the information regarding the recipients of this program will be kept confidential.

PACER’s Kids Against Bullying is a bullying prevention website created by PACER’s National Bullying Prevention Center, which was founded in 2006, and actively leads social change, so that bullying is no longer considered an accepted childhood rite of passage. PACERKidsAgainstBullying is a creative, innovative and educational website designed for elementary school students to learn about bullying prevention, engage in activities and be inspired to take action.
Parent Line
The Parent Line is a free statewide confidential telephone line. We are Hawai‘i’s premier resource on child behavior, child development, parenting, caregiver support, and community resources. Our experienced phone line staff will help you problem-solve parenting challenges and child and adolescent behavior.

Use of Facilities |
Fill out the application for Use of Facilities and submit it to the school office at least 10 days prior to the requested date of use. For periods of use not exceeding 12 consecutive months, the school principal or a designee will approve or disapprove the use.
Depending on the type of use applied for, one or more of the eligible charges may or may not apply. For usage fees, please refer to the Use of Facilities: Fee Schedule.
